What I Learned:
I used WordPress as a content management system (CMS) and integrated the back end of the site with one of my designs. This was one of the first websites I integrated a CMS system with my own HTML, CSS, PHP design. This provides the client with the ability to make changes to the text and photos within the website.
One challenge for this website was to keep the code simple so that pages load fast. I used my own design for this reason. I know that most WordPress templates available for free or for purchase contain unnecessary code. To get around this challenge, I designed a simple template for faster load times.
